CIO Only Roundtable: Cybersecurity and Big Data for Mid-market Companies

You are cordially invited to attend a CIO Council hosted roundtable discussion at FAU’s Boca campus on November 10, 2015 at 6:30pm.

Joining us in this exchange of knowledge, will be members of the FAU faculty and student body who will share aspects of their programs and work in the fields of Cybersecurity and Analytics.

We ask the hard question and we get the hard facts: Can I afford Big Data and what are the benefits to mid-market companies.

• A few years into the Big Data revolution and the landscape looks a little different. Cloud-based platforms and other mature tools are now available giving Mid-market companies access to Big Data analytics.

• Cybersecurity is a top priority across all sectors of government, institutions and corporations requires individuals that possess a multitude of skills and knowledge. The next generation of Cyber Security Leader will be positioned to meet the growing demands of highly skilled Cyber Security experts.

Agenda:

6:30pm – 7:00pm:  Registration and Networking.
7:00pm – 7:05pm:  Greetings & Introduction by Charles Grau, President, CIO Council.
7:05pm – 7:30pm:  Introduction by Joe Robens, Chair of the CIO Advocacy Committee, followed by FAU   Cybersecurity and Analytics Programs Introduction.
7:30pm – 8:00pm:  Light dinner will be served.
8:00pm – 9:00pm:  Panel Discussion: Cybersecurity and Big Data for Mid-market Co’s
