Weather Update

Despite the possibility of inclement weather, our tournament is a rain-or-shine event, so please come prepared. Completing nine (9) holes or spending Two Hours on the golf course will constitute a completed tournament, ensuring that the event carries on toward a memorable experience. It is important to pay attention to the pre-game announcements which will be help at 7:50 AM.

Cart Path Only
If the course is wet, as it likely will be for our event, then you must stick to the cart path. Driving on a saturated course causes undue damage to the greems.

Play to Par

This is a PLAY TO PAR tournament. Once your team reaches par on a hole, pick up your ball, record par and move on to the next hole. Please keep pace with the group ahead of you. The goal is a fun day of golf and networking—not qualifying for the PGA Tour. 😄

About the CIO Golf Outing

We are delighted to invite you to the 19th Annual CIO Golf Outing, which will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Jacaranda Golf Club in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This year’s event promises to be better than ever, and the most anticipated golf outing of the year.

As in previous years, the event is in support of the CIO Council Scholarship Fund, which to date has awarded over 120 scholarships to deserving young students in the Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Your sponsorship dollars will go a long way in contributing directly to the success of the Scholarship Fund and helping to provide opportunities for students pursuing technology-related degrees.
