As preparations continue for the 19th Annual CIO Golf Outing, we are reminded that the true impact of this event extends far beyond a day on the golf course.
Each year, the CIO Council of South Florida brings together technology leaders, community partners, educators, and supporters around a shared mission: creating opportunities for the next generation of technology professionals.
That mission is already producing results.
We are pleased to share that the scholarship review process for Palm Beach and Broward County Public Schools has been completed and four outstanding students from each county have been selected as recipients of CIO Council scholarships. Additional scholarship announcements from our educational partners will follow in the coming months, with awards to be presented during the Golf Outing Awards Luncheon.
For these students, a scholarship is more than financial assistance. It is encouragement. It is recognition. It is an investment in their potential and a reminder that a community of professionals believes in their future.
More importantly, it creates possibilities.
Possibilities to pursue higher education. Possibilities to explore careers in technology. Possibilities to become the innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers who will shape the future workforce of South Florida.
