About the CIO Golf Outing
We are delighted to invite you to the 18th Annual CIO Golf Outing, which will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Jacaranda Golf Club in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This year’s event promises to be better than ever, with sponsorship opportunities starting at just $500, making it easier than ever to be a part of the most anticipated golf outing of the year.
As in previous years, the event is in support of the CIO Council Scholarship Fund, which to date has awarded over 100 scholarships to deserving young students in the Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Your sponsorship dollars will go a long way in contributing directly to the success of the Scholarship Fund and helping to provide opportunities for students pursuing technology-related degrees.

Schedule:
- Sponsor setup from 6:00 AM — If you have a tent, golf carts will be provided to carry your equipment to the designated hole.
- Registration and Breakfast will be from 7:00 AM at the 19th Hole
- 7:50 AM Welcome and Tournament Rules
- 8:00 AM Tee time
- From 12:30 PM Prize giving and lunch in the Palm Room

Our initiative’s success to date has been marked by awarding 94 scholarships in association with Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS), Palm Beach County Public Schools (PBCPS), and Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) through the Broward Education Foundation. This milestone highlights our collective dedication to nurturing a robust tech community in South Florida. With the continuation of our partnership with MDCPS, BCPS, and PBCPS, we ensure the annual distribution of twelve scholarships, fostering the dreams and ambitions of these budding tech enthusiasts.
Looking forward, we are setting strategic plans to expand our impact. These include setting new scholarship targets across the three South Florida School Districts, increasing the number of annual awards from 2024, and deepening our collaboration with South Florida Higher Education institutions—as a Foundation Sponsor, your role will be crucial in these endeavors.
