SCIO’26 Registration Is Now Open
Registration is now open for the 20th Annual State of the CIO (SCIO’26), taking place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines. As one of South Florida’s most established technology leadership gatherings, SCIO continues to bring together CIOs, CISOs, senior IT leaders, and industry partners for a focused morning of insight, connection, and shared perspective.
Over the past two decades, SCIO has earned its reputation as more than just a conference. It is a place where real conversations happen – about what’s working, what’s changing, and what technology leaders are seeing across industries. From cybersecurity and data governance to talent challenges and the practical realities of deploying AI, SCIO is designed to reflect the issues CIOs are navigating right now, not theoretical futures.
SCIO’26 arrives at a pivotal moment for technology leadership. CIOs are being asked to balance innovation with risk, move faster with fewer resources, and translate technical decisions into measurable business outcomes. At the same time, organizations are rethinking cloud strategies, strengthening security postures, and addressing ongoing workforce pressures. SCIO provides a forum to step back from day-to-day demands, compare notes with peers, and gain clarity through shared experience.
Community has always been at the heart of SCIO. Each year, leaders from government, education, healthcare, finance, and enterprise organizations reconnect and build relationships that extend well beyond the event itself. Many attendees return year after year because the conversations and connections formed at SCIO directly influence strategy, partnerships, and decisions throughout the year.
SCIO’26 also supports a broader mission. Proceeds from the event benefit the CIO Council Scholarship Fund, helping provide educational opportunities for local students pursuing STEM careers. Supporting SCIO means investing not only in today’s technology ecosystem, but also in the next generation of South Florida talent.
Registration for SCIO’26 is now open, and attendees are encouraged to secure their place early. Whether you are a returning participant or joining SCIO for the first time, the 20th anniversary event promises a meaningful and relevant experience for technology leaders across the region.
We look forward to welcoming South Florida’s IT community on March 4 for a morning of insight, connection, and collaboration.
