🔵 Welcoming R.C. Woodson as Keynote Speaker for SCIO’26

Fort Lauderdale, FL – February 6, 2026

We’re pleased to announce that R.C. Woodson will serve as a Keynote Speaker for the 20th Annual State of the CIO (SCIO’26), taking place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines.

SCIO has always been about more than a single speaker or trend. It’s a community-led forum where CIOs and senior IT leaders come together to share perspective, challenge assumptions, and learn from one another. In that spirit, R.C. Woodson brings a voice that aligns squarely with the realities facing today’s technology executives—grounded in experience, thoughtful leadership, and a clear understanding of how technology decisions ripple across organizations.

R.C.’s work sits at the intersection of technology, risk, and organizational accountability. His perspective resonates with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and senior IT practitioners who are navigating complex environments shaped by AI adoption, cybersecurity pressures, regulatory scrutiny, and growing expectations from boards and executive leadership. Rather than focusing on hype or vendor-driven narratives, R.C. emphasizes practical leadership, responsible decision-making, and the human side of technology transformation.

As always, SCIO’26 also supports a broader mission. Proceeds from the event benefit the CIO Council Scholarship Fund, which helps students pursuing STEM education and strengthens the future of our regional technology ecosystem. Supporting SCIO means investing not only in today’s leaders, but in the next generation as well.

Registration for SCIO’26 is now open. Senior IT practitioners may request complimentary access, and industry and community registration options are also available.

We look forward to welcoming you on March 4 for this milestone year—and to hearing R.C. Woodson’s perspective as part of an event built by and for the IT leadership community.
