🔵 State of the CIO 2026 – Registration Is Now Open

Registration is now open for the 20th Annual State of the CIO (SCIO’26), taking place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines.

For two decades, SCIO has served as the anchor event for South Florida’s technology leadership community. Each year, CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, senior IT leaders, and industry partners come together for a focused morning of insight, conversation, and connection. SCIO’26 continues that tradition at a moment when the role of technology leadership has never been more complex — or more critical.

The pace of change across IT continues to accelerate. Artificial intelligence is rapidly moving from experimentation to operational reality. Cybersecurity threats are growing in scale and sophistication. Talent acquisition and retention remain persistent challenges. At the same time, IT leaders are being asked to deliver resilience, innovation, and measurable business value under tighter budgets and higher expectations. SCIO exists to create space for these conversations — grounded in real-world experience and shared openly among peers.

Beyond the content and dialogue, SCIO is about community. It is one of the few opportunities each year where South Florida’s IT leadership reconnects across industries — from government and education to healthcare, finance, and enterprise. Many attendees return year after year because the relationships formed at SCIO directly influence decisions, strategies, and partnerships long after the event concludes.

SCIO’26 also supports a broader mission. Proceeds from the event benefit the CIO Council Scholarship Fund, helping provide educational opportunities for local students pursuing STEM careers. Participation in SCIO means investing not only in today’s technology ecosystem, but also in the next generation of talent that will shape South Florida’s future.

We look forward to welcoming the region’s technology leaders on March 4 as we mark the 20th annual State of the CIO and continue building a stronger, more connected IT community.

Registration for SCIO’26 is now open. Attendees are invited to visit the event site to register.
