Paul Martine on BYO

Learn how BYO can improve workplace productivity

Towards the end of 2008, Citrix rolled out a Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) program for their employees.  For the last 8 years Citrix has supported the BYO program for Laptops. By offering a stipend, an employee may purchase the laptop of their choice.  Once purchased, they can ready their device through a self-service website to connect securely to their virtual apps and desktop. Approximately 40% of the company’s employees choose this program.  In addition, Citrix supports employees bringing their own tablet and smartphones as well.
